Default D2 Stereo Replacement help

I saw few posts about locking code. Does it matter if you are putting new stereo in?
I found this instruction https://discoweb.org/index.php?threa...-w-pics.67359/
seems resonable.

Has anyone put one of those flip screen good quality stereo with Bluetooth? I don't want to change factory amps just enough to be able to control from steering.

Thanks

Do you know what type of adapters for hardness and the Control unit you used?
I found from the above link he used

1. Metra 70-1786 wiring harness
2. Metra 89-9400 dash kit
3. headunit removal tools (I used Kenwood D10-7049-04)

does this sounds familier

I did not opt for the steering wheel controls so I can’t help on that , try using Crutchfield website to help find an adapter it will ask what year and sound system
