Default PAC SWI-RC in LR Disco

Who’s using the PAC SWI-RC to run the factory steering wheel audio controls with an aftermarket radio.? I like the factory look of the dash and using the convenience items. However, up grading my factory head unit to stream audio and Bluetooth is not economically feasible.

So I found a am/fm media player that I can live with aesthetically,in my dash. I also purchased an interface to use the buttons on the steering wheel. I was hoping someone had already walked this path and can tell me what pitfalls I might encounter.

They sell those adapters to work the steering controls. Check Crutchfield.com for selections that work with your head unit. I just use a simple Kenwood with steering controls.
