Default D2 wipers suck...

Since I can't seem to find them at any auto store....Does anyone know if I can put wiper arms (front AND rear) from a D1 on my D2?

Thanks!!!

Yes they do suck, and NO you can't put wiper blades meant for a DI onto your DII, they won't fit onto the DII arms.

Go to the junk yard, or online and buy some DI wiper arms and toss/sell your DII wiper arms. Then you can use regular 21" blades like you would on a normal car. It's an easy swap once you have the DI arms, takes all of 10 minutes...4 minutes if you're in a hurry

Exhibit A is my DII with DI wiper arms:

Hey,
Because I live so far from the Dealer I too have put the Disco I arms on my Forrest, now it is just so easy to replace the blades. Note: It did take a lot of looking to find a used set and still cost about $30 shipped but I did get the caps that cover the nuts.
Good luck,

You might also realize, the 2 springs on a D1 arm, wear out like on the D2's, so spend a few bucks more, $18 a piece, and buy new arms then look at the Bosch Icons.

I guess the PO replaced the wiper arms on mine because I haven't had any problems with them. I agree with Mike, just get new ones. Unless anyone knows of a way to tighten the springs on them (?)

What size replacement blades do you guys use? I have read conflicting things, 19 or 21 on both sides?
