Default D2s left on the road...

So, my wife and I have been looking for new products to develop since we did the stainless door lock pin.

I looked up the numbers that Land Rover North America published in their retrospective book and according to them from 99'-04' 115,834 were imported into the US and Canada.

So, what percentage do you guys think are still on the road?

Let the answers pour in...

A lot more could be on the road if people hadn't relied on the temp gauge alone or some mechanic that didn't know his way around a V8 motor....

75% of the ones listed on CL or FB Marketplace = Blown Head Gaskets. The other 20% is anyone's guess on maintenance and interior/exterior condition. That leaves 5% that are babied, cared for, and properly maintained.

I like your optimism

Rover claims 75% of all Land Rovers made are still on the road, or at least on the side of it

The # I'd really like to know is how many 02 Yellow 1 out of 150 Kalahari's are still around. I'd say way less than half due to theft, weather, rust, or accidents.

There's probably more yellow Kalahari left than orange G4 editions. The 4.6 engine was the death of the '03-'04 models. I just recently had to replace the engine in my G4 just to keep it alive. I was trying to buy another G4 but the ****head seller pulled the rug out from under me.
