I looked into Prolong and can't seem to determine what friction modifier they are using, so more research is needed. Another one that looks interesting is Archoil AR9100 which is a product featuring boron (a nanoborate-based oil additive) that Jay Leno uses in his shop. Directions say to add 1.2oz for every quart of oil; it costs about $40 for a pint. I think it contains potassium though, which is a salt, so this seems a bit sketchy for use in and around metals.
