Dash Face Removal
I am changing out the factory head unit and have been able to get it our of the dash. How do you get the dash face (includes AC controls, etc) off. The Rave manual talks about removing the facia, but instructs to begin by removing the steering wheel, disconnecting the air bag, etc. Is all this really needed to get the dash off?
It feels loose but I don't want to pull too hard and break anything.

RE: Dash Face Removal
You need this.

You do NOT need to take the dash apart.

RE: Dash Face Removal
Not sure of the brand, but it has a monitor in each front headrest for the backseat. The DVD player looks like a single DIN head unit mounted under the center console in the back seat. The sound is all through a wireless headset system, this is where most of the wiring comes from in the dash.
Good system, messy installation.
