Default Dash light question?

On startup what lights on the dash are suppose to light up, more pertaining toward the amigos. I know for a fact I have never seen traction control or abs. Just wondering if someone blacked out the amigos or cut the wires. I am not throwing any codes.

when you put your key in and turn it one position all your dash light should come on as a test, traction control and ABS being some that definately should come on.

If you've ever gotten in snow, on ice, or in mud, gave it enough gas to slip, does the TC light come on?

x2

They should all come on when you turn the key. Then go off.

Yeah the dash has been removed so I am guessing they cut the wires that give me the lights. The fact that they aren't throwin codes isn't a good indicator?

Which codes aren't being set? Are you reading the ABS codes or the OBDII diagnostic codes? The ABS codes won't appear on a OBDII reader.

The robin bastid would not have compromised the lamps if they were not coming on. And X2 on the codes won't show without a more advanced reader.

when you push in the downhill descent button on the dash does that light come on? you will hear a sound and the light should come on. if it does not then yeah someone definitely hardwired the lamps off. easiest way to tell I guess.

The hill descent light works and the actual hill descent works because I put it on a big downhill and verified it worked before I purchased. I am confused how this relates though? Explain? Thanks

Here's page from the owner manual that show which lights come on at bulb test (most), the ones that change colors at bulb test (ACE), and the ones that don't come on except when activated (no bulb test).
