HI im looking into buying a 2002 discovery SE from some one , i dont know much about land rovers. The one im looking at has 91k miles they said its the winter packege with the bad *** roof rack,off road roof lights brush guard with 2 off road lights.The only thing im wored about is thers a CPL off dash lights, service eng soon,TC assuming its traction controll, ABS, and i think the other is the hill desent light they said its a fuse in the hill desent but i dont know. they said i could have it for $7000 i think is a good price as long as its not going to cost me alot to fix thoes problems. theres also no dealer where ilive in hawaii. Any help would be grate

 

That is not a good price IMO, but ou are in Hawaii so what do I know. '02's are the neutered children of the the Disco family, no CDL, 18" wheels. Plus you have to take care of the 3 amigos (it is not a fuse, if it were they would have fixed it before trying to pawn it off on you) and the service engine soon light (which could just be a tuneup, who knows).

If you are handy with a wrench it is all very fixable though.
