Dash lights
I live in Arkansas and I have a hawkeye and a nanocom. I'd be willing to help you read any codes or whatever. I don't make it to Little Rock very often though.
There are a group of people camping and wheeling their rovers in Hot Springs on the 18th I think. I'm not sure if I'm going or not. I really want to but I'll be done with on-call at worn that Friday and I might just want to kick my feet up instead.

Easy way to test if your amigos are on and you don't see them:
Try the hill decent and see if it works
Slam the brakes and see if abs kicks in
Go in loose gravel or dirt and gun it and see if tc kicks in

like the OP my SES doesn't light up..all other lights kick on. anyway to check if the bulb for the SES is bad. I live in a smog check area and will fail if the light doesn't light up.
Not sure if your lights worked while you owned it or you bought it an noticed they they don't come on ? I got my first 99 DII a few years ago and not being that familiar with the system it took me months before I noticed I had no lights coming on in those locations. pulled the cluster and found the the PO had filled the holes with black duct tape to hide the 3 amigos. When I called him on and demanded my money back he claimed a "craigslist mechanic" came out and "fixed" the abs system the year before. So Ya never know what people will do to sell a car. Pull the cluster and inspect. Very easy to do.......
