Daytime running lights
Not my truck, but SUVs on the trail getting "turned on".

I have LED headlights in my ‘01 D2 and installed the DRL resistor 2 years ago. My wife would keep asking me if I had my high beams on when I was following behind her. I didn’t understand what she meant until I drove her car in front of the D2. It was a weird bright light that was emitting from the LED/DRL resistor combo. It was a total eyesore when driving in front of my D2.
I kept getting oncoming vehicles flashing me during the daytime so I disabled the DRL with my Nanocom.

Juke that’s good to know. I was considering ordering LED’s for the D2, but we are required to have DRL’s here in Canada. I have LED’s in the P38 and they work great, but the DRL on the RR doesn’t use a resistor, it’s just full on low beam.
I hope someone has a clue here.. On my 99, the LED Headlights were flickering only when I put it in gear, no dash clicking (1st video), but not exactly how the tech bulletin describes. This turned out to be a loose connection at the resistor behind the Driver headlight. After fixing that I thought it was fine after a couple tests. The next day I went for a ride and as soon as I put it in gear they were flashing and the dash was clicking (2nd video).. Is this just a problem of LED headlights, is the resistor bad? I measured it at about 0.9ohm which seems close enough to the 0.75 ohms I've see other state and the manual stating 1e3(1.3ohms).
