DBA528S Rotors - Yea? Nay?

DBA528S Rotors - Yea? Nay?
I know the DBA Gold rotors get talked-up on this and other forums.
Is there any reason not to use these DBA528SL/R (directional) or the non-directional DBA528S rotors?
and
Front rotors are needed on a very-loved-but-not-worth-investing-too-much-money-in 2002 Discovery II, and all things considered, these are not more or less than a quality plain-ol' rotor and seem to offer a savings over the Gold which are probably more than I need.
Or, should I not bother with DBA's budget rotors? A pair of EBC Performance rotors is only about $10 more, but DBA seems to have a better reputation.
Thanks for the advice!

Also, it'd be cool to have a little help with part numbers (PN) if anyone knows them. DBA's website lists all results as "rear," though I suspect that some are front since everyone is talking about running them on their trucks. DBA093, DBA092 and DBA528 are PNs and images found on Expedition Exchange's site. As seen below, there are quite a few PNs on DBA's site—it seems that the line may have expanded?
Here are the part numbers and descriptions from DBA's site, which may hopefully save someone some time in the future. If someone could note the true rear/front application and/or which PN is the preferred rotor and/or which if any PNs to avoid that would be tremendously helpful.
DBA093S - T2 Street Series Rotor, Uni-Directional Slotted, Rear
DBA093X - Street Series Rotor Drilled/Slotted Rotor, Rear
DBA4093S - T3 Clubspec 4000 Series Rotor, Uni-Directional Slotted, Rear
DBA4093XS - 4000 Series Rotor Drilled/Slotted Rotor, Rear
DBA528S - T2 Street Series Rotor, Uni-Directional Slotted, Rear
DBA4528S - T3 Clubspec 4000 Series Rotor, Uni-Directional Slotted, Rear
DBA4528XS - 4000 Series Rotor Drilled/Slotted Rotor, Rear
Thanks again!

Eureka!
Okay, I had the brilliant idea to use the Internet Archive Wayback Machine on Expedition Exchange's site to help answer part of my own question.
Per DBA Rotors Disc Brakes Australia -- EE -- Expedition Exchange Incorporated the following PNs are for a Disco II:
DBA528 = front (as suspected, despite DBA's own info )
DBA093 = rear
Now, the original question remains: are the other, non-"Gold" rotors by DBA worth their weight in, um, non-"Gold"??

Yeah, that's my position, too. The rotors I linked to on Amazon are not drilled, yet, still slotted. I really just want a dependable rotor and don't want to end up paying $100+ for something that's no better than the $50 junk I could buy down the street. I was hoping someone would weigh in on whether they thought DBA's composition and quality control was solid throughout their entire range of offerings.
