Looking for any recommendations for Land Rover shops in/around the DC area, preferably in Northern VA.

I have been to both HR Motor Cars up near BWI airport and Overland 4x4 in Alexandria. They both do good work. I had HR Motor do my head gaskets and they did a good job. In the DC area wherever you go it seems as though you pay a higher price for materials and labor compared to other areas of the US.

 

Well believe it or not, I have had some good experience with the service department at Land Rover Alexandria. Their labor cost is expensive of course, but they offer a free loaner vehicle.

I have heard good things about Overland, but I have not taken my Disco there.

 

Was also recommended Overland 4X4... will use them first time next week. They offered a free transfer back to Metro or a free car rental.
