I regret not ordering rear air on our 03 Disco SE. Was it a dealer installed option? Can it be installed now?

Texas is getting mighty hot this time of the year. The Disco does a fine job with ac for the two front seats but my kids are getting cooked in the back seats.

There is a huge amount of work, parts, trim and all that fun stuff along with BIG BUCKS but it can be done.

 

If you direct the air to the face and feet mode, they should get cold air at their feet and the power of the face/dash vents should be reaching the back seats. Works on my 2000 anyways, my 2 daughters never complained about heat back there.
