Default Death Wobble solved

Hello all, its been awhile,
After searching threads on fixing the death wobble at about 40-45mph. I thought I would post what fixed mine. I have 173,000 on my 2003. I replace all 4 ball joints and all 4 tie rod ends. Both lower ball joints were shot and floppy. The upper ball joint has to be removed first to press out the lower, so its best to replace both. I have the Terrafirma HD drag link and Track rod bars. They come with serviceable tie rod ends but after the continued trama of the death wobble I swapped all to Lemforder tie rod ends. I kept 2 that felt good for trail spares. I also had about 3/16" of movement in the Pitman arm/drip arm on the steering box. I adjusted the steering box torx bold a 1/2 turn and it tighten the steering it up. I would start with a quarter turn and go up from there. After driving it for 2 days steering is much tighter and no lane wondering. I have the Panhard bar bushings on order and will install those with a new OME steering dampener, then an alignment and all should be good.

Congrats on solving your steering problem.
What are the part numbers for your lemforder tie rod ends?
