Default perplexing front end wobble

I have been trying to chase down a front end wobble. It is both felt in the front end and in the steering wheel. It started out a minor one only around 45mph. Then progressed to 40-50mph, now I cant go over 35 and hit the slightest bump. I have replaced- track rod and drag link, panhard bushings, steering box with a used unit, all 4 ball joints. Tires have been replaced and rotated and rebalanced.

Any ideas? No play in the wheels, so I'm not thinking hub(s) but???
Also, I notice on diagrams there is a "ball joint tensioner collett" on the lower joint. Maybe?? Thanks!!

What about the steering damper? Or, maybe one of the tyres is out of true, try switching them front to rear and see if that makes any difference.

D2 'Death Wobble' it's well documented internationally.

Possibles causes or combination of causes:

Drag link ***** ends
Track control ***** ends
Steering upper or lower swivel *****
Steering damper
Panhard rod
Watts linkage (rear)

After finding the cause the wheel alignment needs checking and also wheel balance re-checking.

Search the forum for 'Death Wobble' as this is well documented on here and Google.

the steering damper is the last thing you want to replace, it will just hide your problem.

Also check the pinch bolt on the steering shaft:

That is something I didn't think of- steering shaft. I know the lower cinch bolts are tight as I just put a new(used) steering box on. I'll check the upper, or maybe just pull it to inspect the u-joints. The radius arm bushings 'look' good-no splitting, cracking,or separating, but are the age of the vehicle.

I guess at least the good is everything I replaced has needed it anyway. I have searched relentlessly hence an almost entirely new front end. Thanks for the ideas!!!

Ok, here's what I found- my panhard bushings are bad. Even though they're only 3 months old. I believe it may be my fault by tightening the mounting bolts too tight and clamping the bushing and not allowing for free movement. Or I could be way off on that. Long story short, should I avoid the allmakes? I found ones by a company called Lemforder, they are twice as much $$. Worth it?? Thanks.
