So I just had an inspection done on the G4 I was looking at by a local Land Rover dealership.

Check engine light is on. Wasn't on when I test drove. I guessed they cleared it before I drove it. It's leaking coolant and oil. The engine is misfiring. The service guy told me it has "the wrong type" of spark plugs/wires. The shifter will go from high/low but it won't move left to lock the diff. The brakes are at 10%.

 

Walk away!

That's okay you will find one worthy of owning soon enough! Better to have the save your @$$ inspection than to dive right in and land on a cactus.
