dang, I haven't heard that in literally 2 decades now. we used to call it "flipping the deuce" (turn to). and these days, my cleaning party consists of a compliment of one. when in A School, I came in second in my class. The guy who came in first, by one question on one exam- the answer to which was "color coded helmets", got stationed in Hawaii. I got New Jersey. thanks for your service.

 

We said "flipping the deuce" or "throwing up the deuces" as code for "liberty is down". We used to also call it "go ghost", but that was "liberty is down, but don't get caught leaving" but we don't anymore after the Call of Duty game.

I was 4th in my class, I received orders to Hawaii because there was 3 orders and you cannot choose Hawaii as your first duty station if you were married, and the guy 2nd in our class was married, and in a stunner the first overall guy chose Norfolk. No problem, thanks for yours.

I was in deck div LPO/1st LT so I had plenty of Simple Green, pumice soap and old poopysuits. I swear by that stuff.
