Default Defender wheels on Discovery 2

Anyone know if there is an easy way of fitting defender wheels on our discovery 2? I was thinking maybe a set of converting spacers? Tried to find something but could not find anything.

The main reason is that it is very difficult to find 16inch wheels for the d2, and it is near impossible to find anything second hand.

Also looked at BMW alloys which fit perfectly but i think are too narrow for 265/75/16 tyres...

thanks
Mark

Conversion spacers are the only way and may be hard to find. The defender is 5x6.5 lug pattern

Where are you at, Mark? I've got an extra set I would part with. Shipping would be expensive, but if you're local enough.

haha, about one huge ocean and 3 countries away Im in Malta, Europe... i think the most accessible market for me would be scrapyards in the UK but as you say, shipping is expensive.

thanks a lot for the offer though

Haha, yeah, a little further than I'm willing to drive to meet up. Best of luck on your search!

What width are the BMW wheels that you think are too narrow for a 265? You can easily use any BMW 16" wheel with that width of tire
