Default Destroyed my CDL... couple questions

So a while I destroyed my CDL... transfer case works perfect unlocked but grinds when its lock

My question is can I save some time and just replace the front output section like you would do if you were installing CDL onto a 2002-2003? (circled in red)

Thanks

Yes, you can remove the front output assembly, in situ. You will have to remove the frame mount bolts along with the bolts that secure the front assembly to the main assembly.
