Default deutsche part water pump from ebay

Anyone ever bought one? Is it a piece of crap? It's expensive to be cheap so If no one can tell me that it's good to go I'll just get the one from AB and be done with it.

There's a lot of trash out there, get the right thing from PT Schram http://www.ptschram.com for about $100.

54.00 plus 9.00 for shipping. Hate to overheat my motor by saving what amounts to 37.00 or so.

They did from 1994-2000 when BMW owned them. I think that's why the DII actually stoped leaking from the engine and Bosch finally kicked Lucas hard enough in the rear so as never to be heard from again.
For the water pump, if you don't want to spend a lot but still have a quality part, get one from Rovers North's ProLine. The part # is PLC052, comes complete with gasket, and only cost $79.50 plus shipping. Can't beat it.
