Are there any tools out there for us? I just bought the Icarsoft LR v2.0 and it goes up to 2015 for some resets but no L462 2017 stuff. so its basically the same thing I have with my car scanner app(that's the name not generic). Any other tools out there. I'm waiting for a response from GAP to see if the IID BT tool will give me any more features.

 

Pathfinder is the JLR Software for the Discovery 5, you can download it for free and use a Topix account for access, you need a special DoIP interface to be able to use it, they are around £600 for a proper genuine one from JLR. Clones will not work

Your welcome mate, pathfinder is very easy to use and you tend to find that once you have a topix account enabled you don't need to pay to do a lot of things, for example my InControl Touch Pro was playing up the other day, it had tried to download the v20 update several times and never installed it even though it said no updates were available, the missus had gone out in the car and all the nav and stereo etc had gone off, the cameras stopped working and it was a mess, it did this for two days.

I used Pathfinder and did a firmware restore of the firmware back to v19c (which it said was on it anyway) and didn't need any subscription or anything, it did a full reset of the InControl Touch Pro and so far so good

I also added the Activity Key and Electric Side Steps with it

 

Nice. Yea i will definitely invest in it. Do you think it could be used to add lane keep etc..? IE if i bought the button set then turned it on. Also looking to turn on towing etc.. after i source the buttons. I really want terrain response 2 as i have just the popup button nothing special.

You will need a CCF editor to be able to do that, you will find some solutions on ebay for that but I am not sure how good or not they are.

Not sure about the lane keep, I hate it anyway though. Certainly on the Audi you used to have to reflash the camera to be able to add things, generally the components are pretty generic.

I looked at the wade sensors, they are basically parking sensors however they have to be wired into the parking controller and the wires will likely not be there, also you will need to replace the mirrors to be able to add them, since I have 360 cameras etc thats expensive so I decided against it since i'll probably never use it anyway!
