Question Did later year models solved the headaches ?

Hi.
Searching for LR3 roof leaks and LR3 overheating engines, I found few entries in the forums.
Is the Disco II the generation with such plague ?
Which later years present less or milder problems ? 3 amigos, leaks, chassis rust, thermostat, brakes, bearings, head gaskets...
43K posts on Disco II, 5K posts on LR3... that tells something

05 -10 L322/RRS Lr3:
  1. Parking brake
  2. Transmission issues
  3. Cracked dash (100%)
  4. Air suspension
  5. Roof leaks in the ecu

    11-16 lr4/RRS
  6. Blown engines
  7. Frequent suspension faults
  8. Etc
If the Facebook groups are any indication it got worse. nothing like an $80,000 car that's never been anywhere but to the dealer for service with a blown engine that they quote $27,000 to replace

Bleeder T's crumbling to bits, leaking thermostat assembly, possible cracks in roof glass (know of several LR3's with this issue), HD Package Locker Motor failures, 05-06 had issues with the diff's going out, plus all the stuff Tim listed.

and the lr3 runs out of gas before the gauge says 'empty'....I always hated that the mileage remaining was not accurate...
