A T.T. has no clutches and is a gear lock up system, so it is hard to say it is a limited slip which slips and spins on clutches. Yes, A T.T. does free wheel and if it rotates more the one revolution the gears will engage locking both wheels as long as you are on the gas, back off the gas and it disengages till needed again.
Pretty much the best of both worlds.
