Default isit for subdivisions?

Hey guys, with the amount of subjects and information on this forum relating to the disco, isn't it time we had subdivided folders for each of the standard disco topics like Lifts, Electrical, Headgaskets etc? I know they exist in the regular forum, but not being vehicle specific, I'm not sure how useful they are.

It seems like that would make is much easier to navigate, no?

Well, it would be a lot easier to find information if people didn't list all their modifications in signatures, and saved it for their profile.

The forum search engine doesn't search signatures, but the search engine pretty much sucks.
Using google lets you do more narrow searches, but then you get hits for every instance of a signature that has the word, for example, "lift".
Right now it's sort of loose loose situation.

A lot of topics, like V8 head gaskets, apply to more models than just Disco's.

It would also be easier if people didn't title their posts with "help please" or "I have a problem" and instead put something descriptive there about their problems.

IMHO it would seem that could be an administrative task (for additional admins), to plop things into category by adding the correct searchable term Or provide boxes that OP would select from, in greater detail than what we have now. Self admin stuff will always have the typos, etc., which complicate any search. I would think you would just link the 1st post to the correct bucket, of course threads do wander around frequently, and get awakened after years of trail dirt....
