diff lock
Hey guys,
I posted the link for the install instructions in my last post. It is NOT an easy install. It requires you to completely remove your center console and drill out rivets to gain access to the top of the t-case. After install of the DI linkage (all of it, including the shifter), you will need to rivet the panel back on. From what the instructions say, it's about a 6 hour job if you know what your doing.

I followed UrbanPanzer's write-up. It took about 6 hours and it wasn't very difficult to do. Just read over it a few times before the install to familiarize yourself with the steps and it'll go in just fine. The hardest part is making the hole bigger without removing the tunnel cover plate.
That's an excellent write up by UrbanPanzer. It is, however, for a newer 03-04 cdl shifter with the cable. The link I posted is for a DI cdl shifter, a bit different process and cheaper imo. Even though I'm installing a DI shifter, I will still use UrbanPanzer's website to guide me through some of the steps.
