So what are they asking for the 2000? have you had it checked by a shop first, and will you get any old service information on the truck?

It's the user here's Disco, Just4Fun.

He's got ALL the service info, and the machine sounds pristine. I plan on taking my meals off the engine block!

Seriously though, the sucker is great. I cant' disclose the price, as he gave me a 'cool person' discount!

As long as you are OK with it then go for it.

Friend, If I were merely okay with it, I don't think I'd be having trouble sleeping at night, and concentrating on the job.

Pat-One thing that I have forgotten to mention, to be a true LR enthusiest you MUST watch the movie The Gods Must be Crazy.
Yes I have a copy, no you cannot borrow it but you are more than welcome to watch it with me.

Should I be sad reading this? God I love my DII, and feel weird selling it. Have been thinking about it but not planning it just yet. But drove an LR3 and really like what it has to offer. What eases the pain is knowing the vehicle will be going to a good home with Pat! Hell, I got rid of old girl friends with less thought! LOL

Regards,

Nick

Land Rover puts an addictive chemical in the building process to keep you coming back.

I am avoiding driving an LR3 for that same reason. I am afraid I will like it. On the other hand my 00 Disco II is a very satisfying and capable off roader, so I'll protect my pocket book for now.

Cheers,

Pete
