Default difference between U.S. and Can models?

I am looking into buying my first land rover discovery. The one I am looking at is a '97 with 197,000 km. I think it would be roughly 130k miles. The odometer is in km and the seller claims the truck was brought in from Canada. I was wondering if there is any difference between the U.S. and Can. models. Also, the asking price is $3000. The only thing the seller says it needs are both front window regulators. I did a quick visual inspection the other day when no one was available to let me get a thorough look at it and the only thing I saw was some fluids on the bottom of the engine and tranny. There were no puddles so I don't think any leaks were substantial. Is there any thing I should be aware of to look for when I go back to get a good look at the truck? Thank you for any insight and I hope to be a disco owner soon.

The only thing I know is that a SE7 in the US has rear AC, in Canada it did not.

The Canadaian modle will have DRL's, (day time running lights)
I do not know if the mechanical odometer can be switched to miles or not, I know that the LCD ones can be.
