Default DII - 2002

Hi All,

As the seasons change I noticed in my 2002 Discovery that the heat was not longer blowing thru my AC. I canturn on theEcom switch to blow in the outside air off the block(assumption), but the kids get cold pretty quick when stuck in traffic. As discussed in another forum thread I have read thru the owners manual and was not able to find any resolution. I was wondering if any one has faced this problem and if they could point in the the right direction. Thanks for the help.

So when the A/C is on you cant get any heat from the HVAC system, but when the A/C is off you can get heat?
Or do you just only have ambient temp air comming in and nothing else?

When the AC is on and Heat is all the way up on cold air blows. When turning off the AC and traveling then heat is blown thru the vendor with the Economy switch turned on.

Check your coolant level.
Open the hood, on the left fender behind the battery is the coolant resevoir, when the engine is cold open the cap and look to see if it is full.
