So after some research this is the true specs on this truck.
There is a 2002 model with only 60k in Kansas for 9,000
Land Rover Discovery II KALAHARI LIMITED EDITION! V8, FWD, Borrego Yellow with Smokestone trim. Duragrain/Tetra seats with silver frost interior. Loaded Discovery with Saudi/Gulf bumper and grill, rear ladder & tall roof rack, wraparound brush bar, rear lamp guards, driving lights, glare shield on hood, 16" typhoon wheels with gunsmoke finish and rock sliders.

Either this guy got hosed or he's trying to pull a fast one on some unsuspecting poor fellow. If the later. F-him.
I cant stand people who re-badge cars and try make claims that they're legit. I came from the Audi world had a C5 Audi A6 2.7T (stage 3 minus by the time I sold her...wicked fast). I would see it all the time on Craigslist and not to mention the forums. People would de-badge the facotry lettering and put in place either "S6" or "S4" badges and try to play it off like it's legit. Here's the thing Einstein, the only people who take notice to the badges are the enthusiasts. We know it's not that model car you dolt!

I am sorry i ment the original 99 in first post is not a camel trophy after i did some checking on it i found a identical truck called a kalahari edition that is a 2002 model with only 60 k for only 9 grand. So this guy is asking 15 grand for a 99 kalahari edition not a camel trophy seller of 99 is confused and a bit crazy. I hope i cleared that up?

I noticed the CL ad for the mystery Disco as been deleted. How long before it resurfaces as something else completely rare, amazing and worth more money than anyone with common sense would spend?
