DII Reliability Upgrades

DII Reliability Upgrades
Yeah, I'm bored...
Was thinking that for many, reliability is more important than the MPGs, off-roadability or rugged good looks (I have that in abundance!). So what are the top reliability upgrades. So far I came up with:
-Front prop shaft (done it)
-Green coolant (done it)
-Top hat conversion (done it)
-Ultragauge or similar (done it)
-180F thermostat (done it)
-DI tranny pan w/dip stick (done it)
-Airtex water pump
-Electric fan (arguable, but I'm a big fan [pun!] of 3K+ CFM at 0 MPH)
I'd be interested to know what I'm missing. Some of these cost a couple bucks and/or some labor is all. Upgrades that benefit other areas are fine, so long as they improve reliability as well.

coolant filter mod
repalce plastic coolant lines with rubber/similiar material lines
throttlebody coolant bypass (never leak again, and cooler intake charge unless you live north of 45 degrees latitude lol
ditch plastic diff plugs maybe
replace upper coolant t hose where bleeder screw piece is

"Oil containing ZDDP, like Rotella 15w40"

Unless you don't mind changing camshafts, lifters, rocker arms, etc. frequently.
Does anyone know about, or can anyone suggest, a really good engine upgrade to replace valve train with more modern roller camshaft, using existing camshaft/overhead valve configuration? If that were done, this engine would be comparable with most modern designs.
