cptshanman, the putty was just used to get the Jeep back home. A heavy duty transmission pan is now on the Jeep. $1,500 in repair cost from damage caused by a double cardon joint is unacceptable. I need a vehicle that can be taken off-road..not a mall crawler. U-joints and double cardon joints break fairly often off-road no matter what condition they are in. This is just a part of off-roading...paying $1,500 to repair the damage they cause is either pour engineering or weak components.
