Default Disabling the parking assist

The parking assist has a bad sensor and lets out this irritating beep every time I shift into reverse. I looked for a fuse but no luck.

How do I kill it?

Did you shut off the control on the instrument panel? It may not be a sensor, it may be the speaker which is located in the back panel on the drivers side right as you open the door. Mine was bugging out and I replaced the speaker and it works just fine now.

Yeah I shut it off every time I hit reverse. I may just yank the speaker.

Just had a chance to look at the RAVE to confirm it is in that vent looking thing on the drivers side of the cargo area. Page 1451, or 86.54.19.
A stupid little speaker but east to replace. Took 15 minutes, and maybe cause of your problem. It was for me, had exact same thing happening as you do.
