Unhappy Disco 2 Vibration under power btwn 35-50 mph

Been looking over the threads and was hoping for some reassurance. As stated in the title, my wife's 02 Disco 2 experiences a vibration when under power between 35-50 mph. As soon as I let off the gas it smooths out. I have replaced the drive shafts on a prior occasion and they have the lube fittings. I took it in to a shop and after lifting it they say that the rotors are warped and that is what is causing the vibration. It is a stock Disco. Any input is appreciated.

Forgot to mention that it feels as though the vibration is coming from the rear shaft.

check the rear rotor flex. its a rubber coupling between the rear driveshaft and the differential.

Also, this my seem like im crazy, but Check your tires as well. Check to see if you have thrown a wheel weight. Also check them for water ingress. Remove the valve stems and see if you get water spray coming out. I know it sounds wierd, but my last set of tires had water in them and caused a similar vibration. Also, there should also be a grease plug on the rear u joint and slip shaft. Lube those up.

I am assuming you have modified or replaced your front driveshaft?

Seems like rotors warped would also show up in feel of pedal when braking. And not sure under power or not would change a warped rotor feel.

If you find out it is not any of the driveline parts like mentioned, check your fan. There were some chunks out of my old fan and the fan clutch was toast, but I would get a vibration (very noticeable) when accelerating. Replaced the fan and it was gone. I was amazed it would make that much of a vibration in the entire truck!

Second on the thrown wheel weight. This ended up being a problem for me about six months ago. The vibration was driving me insane, and leaving me in constant terror for a couple of days that something was going to explode and kill me, an it turned out to be an incredibly easy fix.

Alright......
Drive shafts are lubed sufficiently, wheels have been rebalanced, and now wife says that it is clunking in and out of forward and reverse gears and vibrating even worse.....getting frustrating.

Will check the other thread and fan now.

D2 - tranny fluid OK? Tranny XYZ switch (electric selector on driver side, gets water dripped on it by AC and gunks up inside)? Tranny ECU and or wiring of it? Not just frustrating, sounds like it might get expensive, and thse parts are way to high to just throw at it.
