Default Disco burped transmission fluid

So this has happened on both of my Discos 03 and 04. Just out of the blue, it "burps" a stream of transmission fluid and then stops, no leaks. Seems to happen when it sets still and the ambient temp rises. Its done it twice on my 03 and twice on my 04. Other than these "burps" it never leaks. Any ideas what's going on?

From where does it "burp", since the trans is sealed?

I don't know exactly. I'm wondering if there's a vent line or anything like that. Its weird.

could be blocked breather lines and it's forcing it's way out from where they leave the trans?
