Default Disco I turn signal conversion

I'd really like to turn my front turn signal into a parking lamp as well. Either using a dual filament bulbs or steady on with turn signal flash. Anyone have any ideas or comments about this?

On what, a D1 or D2??
First, without spending a bunch of money, it can't be done, but if you have a D2, there are 15 watt bulbs in the headlights and you can but stronger lights in the current parking light sockets.

you can do it for around $100. Get the sockets from a P-38 and the wiring harness with it. Then you can tap into the lamps in your headlights for parking lights. If you want to feel all warm and fuzzy, add them on a relay so you can keep the ones in your headlights.

I have not done it yet, but I was turned on to this by another member, and it can be done.
