Default Replacement rear turn signal in 01 disco

greetings,

i'm a new member. i have an 01 DIsco. i am having a difficult time trying to figure our just how the heck to replace the left rear turn singal bulb. of course this is the turn signal over the exhaust. do i get to it from behind or pry the lense out from the front? i just can't seem to figure out what should be a simple task.

thanks.

paul d.

If it is like the D1, which I believe it is, there is a removable panel inside the rear cargo area that allows access to the light bulbs.

He is talking about the one in the bumper, reach under the bumper, turn the bulb holder half a turn and pull out.

thanks. i'll try that. it feels like that is what should work, but the fact that the tail pipe is right there in the way is making it a bear.
