DISCO-II 2004NAS Connector-Accessory Power (V114)
Looking for some help on the accessory connector installed in DISCO MY2004NAS. It is located under the drivers side (LHD), by the fuse box. Based on the circuit diagram (see attached PDF) I have figured out all the pins except for one that is designated as C0942-5. The circuit diagram shows that it is connected to the INSTRUMENT PACK connector C0233-9.
I have used this connector to hook up an aftermarket head with DVD and backup camera but want to understand what all the other pins provide.
Does anyone know what this pin (C0942-5) is used for and whether it is a feed into the instrument pack or out of it?
I don't want to apply 12V to the pin and fry something.
Thanks

C0942 is found in the wiring harness on later vehicles, to connect the Becker Navigation Accessory Kit.
The Pink wire in C0942 is tied-in with the K-Bus interface unit (connected on C0887), which interfaces the steering wheel's resistor ladder audio controls to the Becker's remote control protocols.
Have a read through this web page, which details installing a Becker navigation system into a Freelander-1 -

Much of it is also applicable to the D2.
