Bringing the tread back to life. Having this stupid clonking sound, non-ACE Disco.

Happens while driving/offroading or engine off and the shifting the steering wheel back and forth. I swear it was the steering box so I had it replaced.

But even w the new/reconditioned steering box its still clonking didn't get better or worse. I got low miles on my Terrafirma track bar and drag link.

Any idea what else to change check???

Have you had a look at your tie rod ends? When mine got worn on my other car, they made clunking noises when turning the wheel back and forth with the engine off. They also clunked while driving around and turning.
