Default Disco II windshield wipers

Can any one tell me if there is a brand of wipers at the local parts stores that can be used as a replacement for the Disco II. All the ones I have found do not attach the same and my dealer wants $30 each for stock ones.

I believe Bosch part# W0133-1634263 should work for you.

I had a tough time finding wiper blades that fit so I went to the local auto parts store and got wiper blades inserts (refills). Just take the ones off the truck and bring them in the store with you in order to match up the size (i believe they are thin). Anyway pretty easy to install and only cost me about 7 bucks total. Hope that helps.

The Bosche ones DO NOT work. I tried it. They're just 21" regular Bosche wiper blades.

I ordered mine from a guy on eBay. OEM Parts.

Here's where I got them: http://stores.ebay.com/Motorcars-ltd

Go to Expedition Exchange and order a set of Sill Blades, they last for ever and work well.

I tried the Boshe and they do not have the right conection. I also tried the inserts but had to remove the metal that runs along each side to get them to fit in the arms witch made them weak and warp after a short while. Thanks jmt. these look like they are the right ones I will give them a try.

I tried the Bosch last weekend, too...no go. Ordered a set from Expedition Exchange based on feedback here, and hopefully will get them in the next couple of days..can certainly provide feedback on them once received, but based on the other comments in support, they seem to be the best (and possibly only) option...

1DKC100960WIPER BLADE - FRONT $13.95 QTY 2 $27.90

Subtotal: $27.90

Shipping: (via DHL Ground)$8.58

Tax: $0.00

Total: $36.48

I bought mine from www.AtlanticBritish.com. The above was the total cost for my 2004 Disco.

This was after two seperate companies sent me the Bosch non-fitting wipers. I had the charges reversed on them but now have 4 21" Bosch wiper sitting on my shelf.

Sill Blades. I have them all of our cars. Best wipers I have ever had.

I actually track my S4 and many times in the rain, even at 130+mph they hug the windshield and wipe completely clean everytime.

Sill Blades, no question.
