I ordered both front and rear D1 wiper arms for my 03 Disco off ebay $5 each, so $15 total, they work great and I can put whatever I want on them. As these cars get older and older seems like I see more and more getting parted out online, check your local junk yard.

Yup.

I bought the conversion "kit" from either Atlantic British or Rover's North (can't remember." It was fairly priced and honestly one of the best mods we've done to the Disco.

It's nice to know you can actually buy a wiper...at a reasonable price...from any parts store and put it on.

What caused me to do the mod was I bought some Rain-X wipers which were supposed to be DII compatible, they mounted but I was never pleased with how it felt. When one of them launched over the windshield during a white-out last winter, I really HATED how they mounted.

Ordered the D1 kit that night and never looked back..

I'm going to replace my D2 wiper arms and blades with the D1 conversion kit from Atlantic British.

The replacement blades are easy and cheap to find and they hook up in a much more simple manner. Will post later on how all that works out.

Default Wiper blade refills

The Bosch 40721 blade edges worked perfectly. No more than $8 each and a small effort in removing the edge from the blade, and I’m done.

the Duralast brand at autozone listed in their parts catalog work on the front; but NONE of the rear wipers for ANY domestic brand work. The company who makes the SAME blade for BOSCH, Autozone, Advanced Auto and O’Reily’s and puts them in different packaging changed the opening that connects the blade to the arm, and it isn’t long enough.

BUT....

NAPA sells a blade not listed for the Disco that works perfect. The product number is NAPA NP14.
