He hasn't been around for quite some time now dropped in for about a week a couple years ago and then vanished again.

Don't worry though, I think you'll find the current set of members to be plenty knowledgeable. Mike was a helpful guy a lot of the time, but he was also a bit of a hindrance to those trying to find ways to do things "outside the box".

Wherever Mike is I hope he is well. He was helpful to me during my engine swap and other times.

I have found that most disco owners are a bit eccentric in one way or another. That can often times come across as being a dick. I myself have been called a dick but that was from my ex-wife so go figure.

FWIW I've searched legacy.com from time to time to see if there was an obituary for him. None so far. Maybe that's weird of me to do. I do recall someone who knows him personally posting a while back that he's been in ill health for a long time, which gave him the time to be a keyboard jockey.

he was a mod on another Rover forum for a long time. i can't remember which one, though.

on this forum DiscoMike and a guy named Spike used to get into it every once in a while. i think Mike banned Spike and then i don't remember hearing seeing Mike around too much after that.

i'm sure the other mods here have an idea about what happened to DiscoMike but may choose not to talk about it.

As one of the oldest still around mods I can tell you Mike used to get into it with lots of folks but he was generally a good dude. I have zero idea about what happened to him though.
