Mike knows Disco's and has helped plenty of people on this site. However I myself remember him being condescending and rude at times. He was also the type to scare owners into maintenance with the fear their truck would explode if they didn't run Royal Purple in everything or have the Land Rover Genuine Certified part.

You forgot the Bosch platinum plus 4 plugs and mobil one filter

I fell for this one and just ordered NGKs because of the misfire codes when warming up the truck

I use champion copper cores in the old motors ngk iridium in the LR3.

When you pull the +4 toss them in the bin. It will be the first time they are properly installed

Actually...I have a box just for the parts I thought I needed and they did not work. It is my box of shame

Whats wrong with the Mobile 1 filter? Thats what I always put on. Is there a better one to use?

If you follow disco mikes sticky major service your rigs would be in good shape. Yes some things are overkill but he really focussed on maintenance
