Default Disco Service in Atlanta area

Hello all,
I have a '01 Disco II SD (90,000 mi) in the ATL area. It feels like the transmission may be starting to 'slip' a bit. Between 20-30 mph, I can feel a 'rumble' below the floor, while it doesn't seem to 'pull' as well as I remember (... my wife's truck, which I almost never drive). From a complete stop, I've started out in 1,2,3,D and the all seems pretty nornal, but when in 'D' and gradually increasing throttle input, the rpms increase without much corresponding change in speed. Could it be that the gearbox is fine, but the torque converter is bad???.. Can anyone recommend a good reputable independent shop near me that can properly troubleshoot and repair this vehicle without robbing me blind? In the past, I've used Enzo's (marietta, ga), and had some dealings with Bear Valley L/R. Not really 'impressed' with either, I have 'heard' that there is a LandRover 'guru' with a shop in the Chattanooga, TN area. As I'm on the north side of town, that would be an option. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

MJL

There's "The Shop" in Norcross somewhere, and while I'm not fond of dealers in general, I had a very pleasant experience with Hennessy in Gwinnett, so I would hope their Northpoint and Buckhead locations would be just as pleasant to deal with. You might also ask this on the SOLAROS forum as most of those guys are actually in the Atlanta area.

There's a shop in Buckhead that I've heard good things about. They did a pre-purchase inspection for me when I bought my discovery.
As for Hennessy, their Buckhead service droid a few years ago didn't know Land Rover ever had US spec 5-speed Discoverys.
