disco transfer case or linkage problems?
What year is the new transfer case coming from? If it is a 2001 to 2003, you can't lock it. It should be in high unlocked for driving. (back and to the right) left is locked. If you go forward, it will be in low range. You still have 3 gears to shift through, but top speed will be about 30 MPH
The seats will fit yours, but they aren't electric. You can install any seats up to mid 99 when the switched to a series 2.
The remotes can be programmed if all of the numbers on the back of the remote matches your current one. Odds are, the dealer will just tell you no again, though. If you want another, just get it from the dealer.
I got some Rubbermaid floor mats from Target and they have held up well. They cost me $20.
Not sure on the sunroof, Mine is an SD

I have this whining problem also, a little different situation:
· Transfer case leaking -> took it to the shop
· Had to pull the transfer case to replace seals and side plate
· I picked it up and as soon as I pulled out of the lot, I heard a loud whining from the transmission/transfer case area. Sounded like a Honda driving 80 in a 1st gear, but not coming from the engine.
· I turned around and took it back – they kept the car and I’m waiting to hear the diagnosis
I was there when the mechanic came back from the test drive - I have no idea why he didn't think something was up!!! Any common thing that could have come up by pulling the T-Case and putting it back incorrectly?
1/29 - Picked up my Disco and the noise is gone - said there was a loose bolt............ Still curious if this is common or if it could have been something else.....
