Default 02 transfer case linkage snapped

I have a 02 discovery with no CDL. I had problems with my transfer case shifter going from neutral back into high and heard a snap and It appears I snapped the linkage just below the shifter. See the photo. I have taken apart the center console and exposed the linkages. Does anyone know of any sources for the new linkage? I have only found it at rover land parts. http://www.roverlandparts.com/1999-2002discoveryiitransfercaseshifter.aspx

Thanks
Josh

I think your best bet is a Landrover wreckers yard. They seem as rare as hen's teeth on Eblag.

Check the way you are changing the low/high level box. It should move easily provided you are rolling less at than 5 mph and with the autobox in neutral. Don't force the lever or it will break every time.

Which piece snapped? I have the part shown in the attached photo. Most anyone would that has done the cdl conversion if they removed it.

Are you sure you didn't snap the cable? I did. The lever on the xfer case was seized. Apparently it had never been put in low range. Going caveman on the small shifter is never a good idea.

I did try rolling in neutral below 5 mph but it still did not budge. Yes it was the cable that snapped and not the bracket. See attached photo.

whats a good price? fixing that cable is on the "summer" repair list along with the sunroofs, headliner, and interior leaks.
