Default Discovery 1 & 2 LS Engine With R380 Swap Kit

like ACE I have also been developing a kit but mine adapts a the R380 to a C5 Corvette bellhousing. It utilizes acorvette clutch assembly with the exemption of a Discovery 1 clutch plate. The kit keeps the engine in the same spot as the factory 4.0 and 4.6 engines. It uses the same transmission and transfer case mounts, drive shafts, radiator but I used the LM7 accessories and a ford power steering pump. I wanted to run accessories that were cheaper and easier to locate locally no matter where you are.

The TC, HDC, ABS all still work as well.

The power increases along with fuel mileage, and reliability.

My swap utilizes a car intake and LS3 exhaust manifolds. It seems that Hooker Header makes a really nice set of block hugging manifolds that would work even better.

If you have any any questions feel free to ask

I’ll have pictures and video in the near future (once I find some where to host them to get the URL)

They did. It just wasn't sold in the US.

What are you doing to address transmission strength? The r380 is already tapped out behind a stock 4.6; they're not very strong transmissions. At least that's what I understand.
