Hi there, I would like to know when LR started to put computers. in the diesel Discoverys. My son has a 1991 200tdi,which we brought over from the UK,(he is in Toronto).
This is a wounderful machine, and with out all the usual electrical drama that comes with older discos.
I would like to get one for myself,and therefor it would helpful to know how old or young a disco I can bring over.I have brought over several LRs in the last few years, and am familiar all the custom requirements etc.I currently drive a 200tdi ex mod lhd 90 with all the
toys.I will appreciate info you lads can give me.

As far as I know none of the TDIs have computers (a big plus for their off road capabilities) but then again our government is a bunch of idiots and we can't have them here. Urban Panzer can probably provide more insight if I'm wrong.

 

If it is a 200tdi...no computer
300 tdi and the TD5 both have computers.
