hello could any body tell me what sort of job it is to change the front cv joint what tools do i need

recently done mineyou have toremove thebrake assembly andhub seperate the swivel housing from the ball and you can then draw the shaft i done one side in 3 hours as for tools if you have a hub nut socket and good range of sockets and spanners you should be ok when rebuilding swivel ***** you should use a spring balance tool to set shim resistance on the housing pins i just used hand pressure to judge it. If you can get a manual it will guide you pretty well this job looks worse than it is.
