Default Discovery 2 2004 HSE wheels

I have a Land Rover Discovery 2 2004 HSE and I am putting a 2" lift kit on. I am also looking at 15" wheels versus a 16" wheel. Does any body have 15" wheels on theirs or has anyone scene 15" wheels on this car?

I'd be surprised if 15" wheels would fit around/over the calipers..

If I remember right, there was a write up recently on the LRO in the D2 section. one guy mentioned he fund a set that after drilling out the lug nut hole worked.
Just curious, why 15" wheels.

Most HSE models came stock with the premium 18" wheels, whereas lower end trims had the 16" wheels. If your just looking do down size from the 18 wheel than the 16's will work well for you. They are common, cost effective and much larger selection of tires available versus 18" wheels. I've never heard of 15" wheels on a SUV and I question the safety factor of using wheels that are to small on a vehicle of this size and design.

I have had 15" wheels with 31" all-terrains on the D1 for 2.5 years.

Doesnt feel odd or unsafe. Its not like you're pushing through switchbacks at 50mph in these things

Also, 16's are by bo means a down-size, better price, better selection of tread designs and ride a whole hell of a lot better then the short sided side walls on the 18'.

Maybe 265/75/16 would be more ideal for you. 285/65 isn't as common and doesn't give you that much sidewall

I'm going to back the 265/75R16 suggestion. Its really common, reasonably sized, won't rub with a small lift (and will only rub at full lock without one). They are great on stuff that you want to "float" on like sand or snow.
