Discovery 2 Challenger 5 spoke wheel group buy?
I realize this might be a hair brained question, but I'm wondering (out loud), how many others have wanted a set of these Challenger 5 Spoke Steel Wheels from Europe, but found shipping costs prohibitive? Then I wonder how hard it'd be to get a group buy together, how big a group could we assemble, and would any of the European sellers be willing to work with said group?
I'm thinking maybe the best place to start would be by gauging interest? So, if any fellow USA based Disco 2, or P38 folks are interested in organizing a group buy, maybe shoot me a message or reply to this post, and we'll go from there?
For reference, the wheels themselves for a set of 5 cost about $550, and the shipping is quoted at about $600, for a total of about $1150, before taxes or import fees, depending on the days monetary exchange rates.

You might want to approach one of the US based LR parts suppliers (ex: Lucky 8, Atlantic British etc) who already
buy containers filled with parts. See if you can generate enough orders for them to work with you by having them do the buying and include in their next container shipping.

95 classics are not the same pattern as a D2

Are the offsets on those really -20? That's quite extreme so you'd really need big flares to make any meaningful tire fit under unless you really want some poke. 16x8 +51 is what stock alloys are so -20mm offset is 71mm (2.8 inches) more poke.
Pic for reference....
